Broken
One time to many
In tiny pieces
To grind under your heel

Broken
Never to be fixed
The pieces so tiny
They cannot be found

Broken
Just broken
Beyond repair
Discarded as waste

Why is this world falling apart?
Why are we killing people for looking different?
Why are we molesting the planet we live on?
Why is money more important then life?

My heart is broken
My soul is damaged
My life feels meaningless
My brain can't cope anymore

Pain is a good teacher
Pain teaches to not love again
Pain teaches to not trust again
Pain teaches to be selfish

Love is a better teacher
Love teaches trust
Love teaches compassion
Love teaches sacrifice

But pain stays and love goes
Every time again

I wish life was easy
I wish life was fun
I wish life was over
I wish life was done

My heart is broken one time to many, the pieces are scattered around
My heart is broken one time to many, some pieces can never be found
My heart is broken one time to many, the bandages just won't hold
My heart is broken one time to many, there are to many stories untold

I can no longer believe in love, there can not be love in my life
I can no longer believe in love, my love can not still thrive
I can no longer believe in love, the pain goes way to deep
I can no longer believe in love, what is left can only weep

My soul is in mourning, there is no longer a shining light
My soul is in mourning, there is only the instinct for flight
My soul is in mourning, it is broken in so many parts
My soul is in mourning, scattered around like missing darts
